This method of moss removal can damage your roof tiles, along with stripping the surface granules from the tiles which as a result will shorten the tiles life expectancy. We use AlgoClear® Pro Softclean or BENZ(biocidal wash and blackwash) which is a safe method of roof cleaning & removing the moss from your roof. This can be achieved by us carefully removing any excess moss by using a scraper and then applying the correct chemicals to your homes roof tiles. We will then apply a fungicide/moss killer which will soak into the tile and more importantly into the overlaps of the tiles and kill off any tiny moss spores. It will also kill off any lichen and other organic material that has grown on the tiles. This application of roof cleaning chemicals will also prevent any moss from growing back for several years. As a bonus, this chemical will also kill lichen, so those black marks on the tiles will fade awaybetween a few weeks and a few months depending on the exposure and porosity of the roofing material. This method doesn’t involve any water or any mess and is the safest and most effective way to restore your roof back to its original condition. AlgoClear® Pro Softclean and BENZ(biocidal wash and blackwash) are a non-aggressive high purity biocide suitable for cleaning roofs and walls. Specialised equipment is utilised to deliver it effectively and safely on the material to be cleaned. It has been adapted to suit weather conditions prevailing in the British Isles and Ireland.

In the recent gale force winds a huge roof tile blew off and broke. We could see daylight through the ceiling and were worried about the next lot of rain coming straight through, so we needed someone to come out ASAP. We contacted 3 or 4 companies, but antosservices, who was recommended by a friend, said they would be out the next day at 12 pm. We couldn't believe that they said they would come out so quickly. The other traders either didn't phone us back or keep the promise they made to come out. Only antosservices came out the next day at 12pm prompt! Andrzej and Ania worked together on our 3-story house to replace the roof tile and they did it in the bad weather, but before the next rains came! We were so relieved and thoroughly impressed. They are the loveliest people and extremely professional, mannerly and genuine. The rate they charged was most reasonable too. They recognised that our predicament was urgent and dealt with it faster than we had thought possible from a trader.
